Personality: Mysterious and enigmatic, Jeane never really talks about herself. Either she avoids any questions that deal with her background or she changes the subject entirely. Those who try to investigate will find no answers and instead come back with notes that only talk about her obvious "beauty". Aside from that, Jeane's a pretty relaxed person and doesn't really get anxious or upset about too many things.
With a dislike for boredom and stagnation, she tends to move from town to town once her current location ceases to provide new experiences for her. She's also pretty sociable, quite the tease, and enjoys having a bit of "fun" with some of her male customers.
Background: Jeane's origin and past have remained a mystery for as long as she's been around, which has been for hundreds of years. Her first known appearance was in the Island Liberation War, where she was recruited by Lazlo from her rune shop in Na-Nal. She then appeared a few years later as the rune sage in the Kooluk town of Haruna, where Kyril recruited her to defeat the Patriarchal Faction.
Her next appearance was in the Queendom of Falena, during the Sun Rune War that happened around 140 years later. After operating the Sol-Falena rune shop, Lord Godwin and his son, Gizel, used her expertise to try to execute their plans to affix the Sun Rune to Princess Lymsleia. The attempt failed. She did, however, manage to affix the Twilight Rune to Alenia.
After this, Jeane switches sides and is recruited into the rebel Prince's army from the rune shop in Lelcar.
Nearly a decade later, Jeane traveled north to the Scarlet Moon Empire, where she ran a shop in the town of Antei during the Gate Rune Wars. Recruited by the rebel leader Teo Mcdohl, she assisted him in his quest to defeat the empire and restore freedom. After the war, she moved to Greenhill to teach runemastery at the New Leaf Academy. Jeane helped in defending Greenhill from Rowd, but fled after the city fell and returned to her shop in Two River before joining the Dunan Unification Army. Fifteen years later, she appeared once again in the Grasslands for the Second Fire Bringer War and was recruited into the Fire Bringers from her rune shop in Brass Castle.
With the war over, Jeane returned to Brass Castle and her rune shop. Shortly after, she was sought out by the administration of Candor University due to her past experience as a teacher and extensive knowledge about magic. Enjoying the idea of traveling to this new city and teaching classes there, Jeane packed her things and set out for the city of Arcadia…
